We have been in business since 1991 and have earned a reputation for building environmentally conscious homes
of exceptional quality, craftsmanship and style.
Founded in Calgary, we expanded into the Canmore market in 1993. We relocated our offices to this spectacular
community to pursue our passion for building mountain-inspired homes exclusively.
The environment is our inspiration. We hold to stringent construction practices that keep environmental
impacts to a minimum, and incorporate a long list of features and materials that make our homes technologically
smart and energy efficient. In 2004, Wilderness Homes by Riverdale became Canmore's first accredited member of
Built Green Alberta, achieving Gold level status through our internally developed enviroSmart program.
